Open up to Prana, the life force!
During the first three Friday trainings we explore the key actions and benefits of the intermediate poses that connect us with the Air & Space elements. These expansive and radiant poses are taught in steps called ‘kramas’ to cultivate the openness, strength and confidence in a safe and enjoyable way. Life energy, or Prana, moves in space. The more space we create in our bodies, the more we can radiate our energy and feel the freedom to express ourselves.
Air & Space Elemental Masterclass
During the fourth and final session we offer the Air & Space masterclass, an opportunity to experience the poses as part of a vinyasa master sadhana. Ride the wave of prana as you flow on the energy of the ujjayi breath. Experience the power of the air element through pranayama and mantra integrated seamlessly into a transformative master practice.
About the Advanced Asana Training Program
With their 5 Elements Advanced Asana Program Simon and Daphne offer an opportunity to experience the transformative power of Elemental Vinyasa Yoga through a deeper level of integration between the yoga poses, the elements and the chakras.
Simon and Daphne work together to cultivate a safe and encouraging climate for students who want to extend their boundaries and excel. Their teachings and master classes are based on the Prana Vinyasa™ yoga system.

“Our Advanced Asana Trainings are not just about hard work! Sometimes we try ‘too hard’, trying to push our bodies into a pose. During this series of trainings you will learn how to open and prepare your body intelligently and with respect. We offer modifications and encourage you to experience the pose to your fullest potential while respecting your boundaries. During the trainings the use of props such as belts, blocks, blankets and supportive partner work will be integrated.
While some poses require strength and stamina, others benefit from relaxation, time and breath so we also practice surrendering and letting gravity do its’ work.
